Butterfly

Its been awhile now since we talked.
I cut you off my life as I was very angry.
I don't know what moved me to say hi to you.
But when you cried listening to what I have to say,
I wasn't expecting that.
I hope now you understand every action that I made.
I did not regret what I did.
But now, don't let me regret for saying Hi to you again.

when enough is enough

Im now in the lowest point of my life. When i thought that after completing my NS, life would be great, but no! It was to begin with, but things start to change. My dad treats me like an atm machine, my work is no longer fun. I no longer come to work with a positive mindset. I use to be the guy who looks forward to come to work. But thats all over. Look at me now, Im now in a clinic to get an MC. My superior starts giving me bullcrap shifts working from 6pm-12am and reaching home only at 3am and then expecting me ti start working the next day at 8am-4pm. Why do they do that? Cause they know I can do it and even if I cant, I dont have a choice. Im loosing my energy, loosing the inner fun of me. Tell me people, what do I need to regain every aspect of my life???!!!

Lost & not Found

If notfor my sister forgetting her office keys, I would be happily lazing at home. If not not her carelessness, I wouldn't have need to go down to her office to pass her the key. If not for that, I wouldn't have dropped my pouch containing an Ipod Touch, Earpiece & newly bought pack of cigaretes. OMG!! Hard earn money to buy gadgets all gone in a matter of seconds!!

A Blog Just For You And Me

Letting it go wasn't easy but something I had to do. I cant hold on to it and just keep on hoping that a miracle will happen. I shall put it as my past and look ahead of life.

When Friends @ Work Go Crazy

I miss all this crazy people since I've been sent over to Privé for training. Since I've been gone, many things has happened. My Barista has resigned and gone M.I.A ever since. My manager (the skinny botak mouse in the pic eating pizza) has left. Yoko, the milkshake ghost, is serving her notice and will be leaving me in a few days time. I seriously will miss every single one of them.

New Buy

New shoes and pedals for me, means a new biking experience. Locking the shoe into the pedals is not that simple for me, especially when going of on a traffic light with tones of cars behind waiting for you.

Its Just Wrong

What has happened to the mindset of every local Singaporean? Are we becoming dependable to every aspects of life. This has come to my mind recently after reading a book written by Neil Humphreys named "Even a Smaller Island". The book is about Singapore in the eyes of a foreigner who has the right to speak his mind as he has stayed here for 5 years during the time the book was published in 2003.

One thing he mentioned in the book was about Senior Citizens here. Why do we let them work till the age of 200 so that they can earn just enough to eat only a plate of rice with maybe nothing but soy sauce and a piece of fried egg. We people eat in fast food restaurants and leave the table without clearing the tray but instead let the poor old aunty come from one end of the restaurant staggering to the table that we once sat on just to clear that tray full of burger wrapping and a paper cup. How much effort does it take to do that ourselves? For some, maybe walking towards the rubbish bin is like doing a 400m sprint. I cant blame some, as living here in Singapore has become a luxury. You can have about just anything that you want with just a snap of the fingers. If you dont get it, COMPLAIN! What else is there to do?

Complaining is every Singaporean's fauvorite hobby. I swear, people here feed on complains. It just makes them happy. And the purpose of complaining to them is not for getting the better service, but in hope of getting freebies from the poor company. We have to live past this mindset as it really creates a bad image for us. Encouraging this behavior also is not healthy for the younger ones. Kids start complaining to get the things they want.

For example, they start using their maids to do chores for them. If poor Fatimah, the maid do not do as little 9 year old Jim says, they will just complain to mummy. Of course Fatimah does not want this to happen as this may result in being deported back and end up owing a pile of cash to the agency. So this means Fatimah has to treat Jim, only a 9 year old, as if he is the king. Its just plain disgusting if you picture it. Forget about relying on the older ones to set the example as most of them are to proud of themselves or some just cant be bothered. To them, they paid an amount of money to the agency and they deserve what they have paid for and forgetting all the aspects of morals and ettiquetes.

Plan For The Weekend

Tonight, will be Jasmin's b'day, she is holding some kind of party/gathering at sentosa. Will be going down with Kota in the evening. Im in a dilemma in weather to bring her something or not. 1st of all, im bad at buying someone presents. 2nd of all, I think she is very picky about this things. So to be on the safe side, I better not buy anything. Well, maybe get her a bottle of non-alcoholic red wine a.k.a. carbonated grapefruit juice stuffed in an expensive looking bottle and you have to open it like a champagne. My Goodness, the world is full of pretentious shit. Its just grapefruit juice damn it!

Saturday evening, a 100 k/m ride with Kenny. All around Singapore together with other bikers from SMBF. Honestly, I have not been getting ready for this. I wanted to train this past few days, but Im down with the flu/fever. Lack of motivation together with my lazy body, its just not goign anywhere. I just hope that on Saturday the ride will be a slow and steady one. If not, trust me, I will bail!

Pouring Rain

What's more interesting in a bike ride than heavy pouring of the rain? Seriously. It just HAD to be right when I wanted to try and do a 100 km. Only at the 1st km, it started to rain already. Lightning and thunder was playing like a song that you hate that keeps on repeating itself.

*Fun Fact about me: I'm scared of lighting. really scared. really REALLY scared! You want to know why? Because, the fact is that lightning strikes the tallest object on the area that it strikes. If you have an open field, it will go for the lonely tree stuck in the corner, right? Right, so the problem now is that, I'm always the tallest amongst my buddies or whoever I go out with. So yeah, this is stupid, I always thought that I'll be the one who is going to be nature's next victim :D I know it's silly, but it has never grown out of me.

Back to my attempt on 100km, it didn't happen. I was drenched under pouring rain with thunder and lightning right on top of me and not forgetting the one that stroke on a forested area nearby. A couple of traffic lights stopped functioning and I'm still cycling. I passed by Kranji MRT and decided to make a pit-stop. At this point of time, I have already cycled about 15km. Its still so far away from my goal. After about an hour waiting for the rain to stop and of course it did not, I decided to just go for it and head for Tiong Bahru and meet up with the guys. Upon reaching there, I didnt feel that I had enough, so I went ahead and cycled somemore going to Dempsey Rd to visit the guys at Hacienda.

It total that night, 61km + soaked up socks + broken back light worth $40 + hella of an experience.

Cycling Again

Recently Ive been back to my hobby, cycling. The feeling is awesome. The intense feeling I get trying to complete the hill Im going up. The wind blowing in my face going over 40km/h downhill. The places I get to visit after each completed ride. And the good times I get to spent with my cycling buddy. Each completed ride is an experience, some good, some bad. Some are worth laughing about, most are worth having my middle finger up in the air. *Bloody taxi and bus drivers!

Ready For a Ride to Tiong Bahru

At East Coast Park With Kenny, Clocked In at a Total of 45km
On The Way Back To Kenny's, Pit Stop at Bugis *Notice My Jersey and the Bank
The Next Day @ Kenny's Place. Had a Nice Swim Before Heading Back Home. About 25km ride Back to Woodlands. I Was Dragging Myself To Do It. The Hot Sun Was Crazy.

Dan Sebernarnya

Oh bulan
enggan melayan diriku lagi
pabila
airmata membasahi pipi
dah lagu lagu di radio
seolah olah memerli aku
pabila
kau bersama yang lain

adakah perasaan benci ini
sebenarnya cinta
yang masih
bersemadi untukmu
dan sebenarnya ku mengharapkan
disebalik senyuman mu itu
kau juga
merindui aku

ku enggan
berpura pura ku bahagia
ku enggan
melihat kau bersama si dia
oh ku akui cemburu
mula menular dalam diri
pabila
kau bersama yang lain

pabila kau merenung matanya
ku rebah
jatuh ke bumi
disaat kau benar benar mahu pergi
seperti
ku bernafas dalam air

dan sebenarnya
dan sebenarnya
aku rindu
dan sebenarnya
dan sebenarnya
aku tak mampu
tanpamu.

5. a friend's mum stole ice cream from me. stole Cheese Rings from a shop. it was my favorite ok. cannot ah? plus my sister was the one who planned it. I was eating it happily at home and she had to open her mouth, "Mama, adik stole that kropok from the shop just now". Walau eh! It was her plan to begin with. And plus, cant she at least let me finish it?? Yeah, I got a hell of a spanking from my mum. She used laundry hanger to whack me.

6. collecting Yakult after school ends. Moved in to Woodlands into a bloody big jumbo flat. My dad left me alone at home to buy food, I was playing with miniature army figurines. my dad came back home and my army was ready for War!

11. had a lot of problems with school. left singapore education and went to an international school. hell, it was so much better. had tones of fun.

12. they call me school bully. hehehe, not class bully, but SCHOOL bully. I was called in once by my principal for cursing too much, and I was calling kids names and such. Anil - anal, Virginia - ouh come on, figure it out.

13. pre-teen years. pimples pimples and pimples! and starting to know what "love" was. My 1st ever girlfriend was Hannah. hahahaha. those days, good old days.

Post Surgery

My surgery 3 days ago went pretty well. The treatment I got from the nurses in SGH was amazing.

To Ward 76 of Singapore General Hospital: I would like to say thanks for the care I received during my short stay at the ward. You guys gave extra attention to the patients including me and I would like to express my greatest appreciation.

So by the way, the surgery took only an hour and it was over before I knew it. Anesthetics does amazing things to people. Like I kept asking the nurse the same question for three times without knowing until she told me about it. Hospital food is nothing to brag about. Fish Lemak Chili Padi with Vegetables and Papaya for desert. The taste was blend and saltless. Well, after all, it is called "Hospital Food".

Thanks to everyone that visited me. Without all of you, I would have felt lonely.

Now back at home, I have a huge bandage on my right knee and I have to take care of it. I can walk without crutches already. It is a good sign, plus they do make me walk very slow. Taking a shower is my least favorite thing to do in my daily routine. Let the picture do the talking:

Really makes me feel like a sandwich.
Bye for now, and yeah. Did I mention? I have 41 days of MC!!!

Ride of Silence (Singapore)

Since tomorrow will be my surgery, I decided to utilize my legs and join the "Ride of Silence". I cycled to Sengkang to meet a fellow biker and also to buy a helmet then met with the rest at Merlion Park.
The ride of silence, wasn't very silent indeed. Riding under 20 km/h, we were really hogging the road. It is for a good reason, showing people that there are cyclist on the road. MANY of them. We HAVE the rights on the road. Do you know that bicycles are considered vehicles? We are not motor vehichles, but we are classified as one and that shows that we have the rights. Occupying the whole lane, cars tend to drive past us w/o honking. Only the BUSES and TAXI drivers were the noisy ones. It just shows how much drivers do not dare do anything when outnumbered.
From Woodlands > Yishun > Ang Mo Kio > Sengkang > Hougang > Serangoon > Lavender and finally Merlion park. Chilled out and wait for the ride to start. They break us into groups of 20 as not to over poppulate the roads. 19 km ride, passing by places in town at 13-16 km/h, it was an enjoyable ride. Slow and steady, but at some point, I was tempted to just leave the ride as it was kinda bring. Lemme rephrase, the ride around town was enjoyable but the Ride itself was boring. At the speed we were going, I might aswell jog. Oops, but of course, that would defeat the purpose. After completing the ride, we headed to Lavender food centre to have dinner and some rest. I broke off with the rest at hougang and went a seperate route back to Woodlands.
I made a pit-stop at Yishun and reallised the my hands were shaking. But my mental was still strong. I arrived back home at 12am and took a look at my speedo-meter:

Total distance - 86.6 km
Average Speed - 20 km/h
Top Speed - 51 km/h

a new member has joined my Rota. Leslie is his name. If George is Lao Lao Jao, Im Lao Jao. Leslie is Lan Ciao. Newbird means less work for me.

ok, btw, $3000 more to go for my DSLR. I have with me now $900 and trying to save $500 every month. Prive is killing me now. They are cutting the hours short closing an hour earlier each day. Its good news to some as it means more rest. Bad news for me as it means, less hours = less pay. Next week schedule shows that I will only be able to clock 20 hours in a week. I use to do 70-80 hours in 2 weeks. So what should I do? resign? hmmmm, maybe. I do plan to go to Hacienda, a sister company. I heard they have better staff meal and also, the closing time remains like before. But what do you know, if I do go there, the next thing is they start doing the same sh*t.

Breakage

For almost 2 months that I have been working with Privé as a part time waiter, I have never ever in any point of time, break anything. Friday was the 1st time that I had to start work as early as 11am. It was a hot hot day and I arrived by 10.15am. No floor staff was around except me. So I did some opening procedures like arranging the sofa and unlocking the cabinets. The cabinet in the middle section was being covered by canvas and need to be remove. So I lifted it up, BANG!!!!!!

NUFF SAID!

JB Trip

Went to JB with 2 of my colleagues. With only S$36, got RM80. Enough for food, ciggies and more food and more ciggies. Fizah became our "MAMA". She was the one holding onto the money, and we had to ask it from her when buying things. I grabbed a "Neighbourhood" trucker and Azhar got himself a pair of "Everlast" snickers. And as per norm, Fizah bought slippers. Macam lah slipar jepon tak cukop pat SG...

Out With Sister

Had some fun with sister at Bugis. Did some shopping, or more like telling her NOT to buy this and that. You may not like it, but you have flabby arms my dear sis. Sleeveless just wont do for you. Its been awhile since we went out together as siblings. People do actually mistake me for being her boyfriend. I really need to get the "I'm not her boyfriend" t'shirt when Im out with her. Im loosing the shots here. hahaha. Had McDonalds before we left for home. Watched standup comedy through out the 1 hour ride on the bus.
