INFINITY @ Ritz Carlton

Infinity is a graduation ceremony plus fashion showcase held by Raffles Design Institute. I was there to see my good friend graduate with a BA(honors) in Visual Communication. CONGRATULATION James! the whole event was quite grand but the food was disappointing. I observed that after each student has collected their awards, their parents and them would exit the ballroom and go to the hall and start gobbling down the food. I feel sad for the last guy who received his/her award as the ballroom is practically empty already as the rest had made their exit earlier on. I guess it would be fair to only allow all guest to leave after the whole ceremony has ended. Plus the food provided by the hotel (Ritz Carlton)was very little. By the time I went to grab something for myself, the trays are practically empty already. Anyway, there is nothing much after that as there is no portfolio showcase held at the hotel. The school decided to hold the showcase @ the NLB.

Went Out With Nabella Again

I went out with Nabella again. Same places again. Nothing new. I lost the blower for the lens, so we went to marina square and bought another one. Costed me $7. Not more than an hour later, I lost it again. Now have to buy a new one. DAMN!!

Around Town In 10 Hours

I wanted to go to town to take some pictures for fun and I ended up going with Nabella. She was quite enthusiastic after finding out that I have an extra camera with me dat she could use. Initially, we just wnted to go to esplanade or maybe somerset, but ended up going to city hall. This is a map of our journey. And YEAH, we ended back at city hall.

After the art house, we passed by Supreme court and walked back to city hall to go through Raffles City shopping centre. Then we headed towards Beach Road and passed by the Raffles Hotel - 1.47pm

And so we tot that we should climb this flyover so that we could take a nice pic of the SG Flyer, but we where so wrong. 1stly, this is NOT shears bridge, 2ndly the view sux and 3rdly, we found out that it was ECP. - 4.01pm-4.20pm

And so the battery on Nabella's cam was getting flat, so we went to Esplanade library to charge it up. Her cuzzin joined us there *i dun know her name*. We waited till it was 6 to resume shooting again. I attended a turnout a few weeks back and managed to capture some shots that I find interesting. I did some touch up in PS cs3. Made it B/W and lighted up some parts that I want to focus on. Enjoy.

state - between the lines

I was at harbor front with my friend Kota, and I reallised there was a nice shot that i could take. I took the shot back home and played with it. Since Kota is one of the owner of "State" apparels. I combined him with the logo together and added some extra juice to it. Enjoy.
